AVIATION ENGLISH

 

English plays a vital role in international aviation. It's used by a wide range of workers including pilots, cabin crew, air traffic controllers, airport ground staff, dispatchers, engineers and mechanics.

Spoken English is important for many workers, but they may also need reading and writing skills. Engineers, for example, have to read technical documents and write emails or reports. Pilots have to read checklists and fill out weight and balance sheets.
